Hex

A journey into Robotics and Engineering

About our Project

Welcome to our Hexapod Robot Project! Inspired by the agile movement of insects, this six-legged robot is engineered for stability and adaptability on various terrains. Building it has been an exciting journey, letting us dive into areas like servo control, real-time video streaming, and sensor integration. Equipped with a live-feed camera and environmental sensors, our hexapod serves as both a research platform and a showcase of modern robotics.

This project is always evolving, blending technology, creativity, and problem-solving. It’s more than just a machine—it’s a leap toward the future of robotics.

Project Goal

Our goal is to create a semi-autonomous robot that navigates and adapts to its environment, with future applications in exploration, search and rescue, and remote inspections. In the near term, we’re focusing on refining its walking and turning, enhancing video streaming, and improving sensor accuracy.

Looking forward, we plan to integrate AI for facial and object recognition, allowing the hexapod to recognize and interact with its surroundings. This will transform it from a research tool into an autonomous explorer, capable of assisting in hands-free, real-world applications.
